My name is Michelle Bury. I am a young, new photographer who is ready to make my mark on the world of photography in Colorado and Utah. I attend BYU in Provo, Utah during the school year and visit Colorado in the winter and summer. At a young age, I was disgusted by the outrageous prices, and poor quality of the portrait photography in my area. People had lost all sense of what it means to be a real photographer. So with my camera in hand, I set out to give people what they deserve, true art. Since the age of 15, I have been photographing everything from nature to peers and has enjoyed every minute of it. I believe that a photographer should always respect the truth and should capture it's beauty, instead of editing it for personal desire. Today, photographers charge an arm and a leg for the bare minimum. Everything comes at a price. I believe that photography should be honest and shouldn't be taken to simply make money, but for enjoyment. I hope that in years to come, others will follow my lead and will help make stunning photography accessible to everyone.
